I read that was Apple Music’s doing, not hers. It’s still on her YouTube version of the video. Idk what the issue is when she’s talking about her own insecurities and not labeling anyone as fat. Doesn’t make sense, but 🤷🏻‍♂️ that’s the kind of society we live in where everything is offensive.

And before anyone jumps on me, I’m very much overweight. I know I need lose weight to feel healthier, but I’m not going to let the media dictate how I should feel about myself.

The context of the scene is to highlight how women are pressure to lose weight but still see themselves as fat when they actually aren’t. It’s an insecurity. It’s not a slur.

This is the dumbest controversy I've ever seen. This was about her own insecurities. It's important for big celebrities to show their own vulnerabilities, to show that they struggle with things that regular people can relate to. I think most of us have felt insecure about our image at times.

Either way, the edit still maintains the original goal, so it's whatever. But the backlash is dumb.

It wasn't much of a controversy or harm though, some points were made for people who may have felt offended. I'm glad Taylor took action.

To be clear, I don't have an issue with anyone taking offense. It's their own body, their own experience, so I can't tell them how to react. My issue is people calling Taylor "fatphobic", which is ridiculous.

It's like the Beyonce issue. 

The word isn't a slur in African American communities,  but all it takes is one person to find something offensive and it changes just to make them happy,  like they changed the world.
