My personal taste may be oops. However records should be broken. If they’re not, how are we evolving? Good for Taylor, she really puts a lot into these albums.

Exactly! Didn’t Adele break it? I remember she sold like a total of 3 million in a week or something.

This, releasing the deluxe version at the same time with both explicit and clean version really helps. I guess that's how people are doing releases these days.

If anyone call sell millions doing 4 versions, they everyone would be doing it. 

Also, there is nothing wrong with fans supporting their favorite artists. We all rallied and bought Blackout a few years ago to make the album platinum.

Taylor is desperate and we all knew. If her biggest albums and hits couldn’t get her this achievement why is this boring album doing it? Because she keeps exploiting people. The whole Scooter drama should’ve cancelled her indefinitely for refusing to buy her masters. She saw an opportunity to squeeze every penny from her fans and she did that. 
 

The gorilla grip she has on society is something odd. Beyoncé and Taylor did some voodoo at the 09 VMAs or some blood magic because the way those two got infamously famous after that is concerning

 Oops will always be the winner. See the thing is back in Oops days we had to go to the store and buy a copy. There wasnt the internet , stream counts , buying multiple copies online.

 So in my mind Oops had more " legit" sales.

correct. you cant compare them. ever since online streaming starts to become a thing, album sales have tanked drastically. the market went from selling 500 million CDs and vinyl in 2007 to 100 million in 2020. that's a 500% shrink.  for her to sell 1.3+million copies when you could just listen for free, well that certainly makes a 2022's 1.3 million at least 500 times more impressive than back in the days.
