i voted Shakira - Underneath your Clothes

but I really love Just like a Pill, Mariah, Jenny from the Block and Complicated

but where is this:

Alanis barely missed the Top 20. She’s in the ‘Artists Who Barely Missed the Cut’ Spoiler since I was only limited to 20. :kyliecry_crying_tears_jenner_wipe_sad:

I also had to omit Brandy, Michelle Branch, Missy Elliott which I felt really bad doing :kyliecry_crying_tears_jenner_wipe_sad:

Pop music in the 00s was so varied & vibrant, maybe its nostalgia but I think we are missing this in pop music today

such a great year in retrospective. aged like george clooney

as she pleases mtv GIF by Madison Beer

Music in general from 1995-2004 aged like the finest wine tbh I agree the scene was much more vibrant then

But one thing, Beatiful was more hit that Dirrty

Both were technically released in 2002 but ‘Beautiful’ was the bigger hit and made the most impact in 2003. It was also released as a CD single in 2003 and the music video itself was released in December which was towards the very end of the year. ‘Beautiful’ will likely be included in the 2003 Edition however as Christina’s biggest hit that year. :matches:

That’s probably my favorite song out of that entire list, the taste jumped out Glitter :tiffanynod_miss_ms_ny_new_york_yes_yas_nodding_agree:

I don’t understand why this song doesn’t get talked about more or why it’s not even played on the radio anymore for that matter. This is absurd and I want justice for Underneath Your Clothes :meryl_streep_point_yas_yes_meme_proud:
