You had to be there, was a really mysterious time, it was kinda like the beginning of the end really, especially when it comes to that time period in general. That was the start of her pushing for creative freedom and she got shut down. The material was excellent, ahead of time but she got shut down. To this day, she has always been shut down

I think because of the lyrics and the mystery surrounding the song.

I'd like to hear it but overtime I've become more interested in other unreleased songs. It's a bit overhyped now.

I think it's because of the whole mystery around it. In my case I never truly cared about it, I think the sound is a bit outdated, but it'd be cool if it finally leaks in full one day

It was a time where there was a lot of controversy, scandals, rumors everyday. Her public image was shifting, she stayed silent the whole time after the babies, the scrapped original doll album,  the divorce, the partying, etc The GP thought she was a crazy white trash having a breakdown, but the fans felt like she was rebelling against someone/something. Nobody knew at the time she was surrounded with sharks trying to take control of her and her money.

Also The fans were sooo hungry for new music after ITZ/GH:MP, we sensed some tension between her label and her since the original doll drama, and when she posted the snippet on her website it was a hope for a future album with a new dark sound, natural and soulful vocals, with personal and mysterious lyrics. It felt like real Britney, singing real feelings, telling a real story, with her real voice.
