I agree actually. These projects may sound ok to an english audience on first listen, but they're marketed to a spanish speaking audience where they're going to have difficulty resonating because they are just not there yet. Not saying they shouldn't do spanish projects but if they want to fully capitalize on this audience, they're gonna have to actually take the time to earnestly honor the language and culture long enough to give convincing performance. If they're not willing to fully commit to it that's fine but it's gonna keep falling flat and keep giving that duo lingo energy.

She sounds incredible and you can tell it comes from her heart. There is a reason why “Pero Me Acuerdo de Ti” is her most popular video as a lead on YouTube.

ok, so, I hope that the rest of the ep is yet to be released and now that I've cooled down a little, I've watched the mv and I started crying from the start. the song is also nice even though not my favourite.

Her pronunciation is way better than Selena Gomez and she actually has the confidence to perform her spanish songs live. Did you see her La Reina performance last night? There were some high tempo verses there that she killed.

Edit: I'm not believing that fan twitter account. Xtina said the album would be comprised of three six-song increments. 

 

Don't lie, her label says it's The FINAL CHAPTER and the album Aguilera was updated with the flop intro and new track
