I Can't Unhear It, And After This Thread, I Hope I'm Not The Only One

Whenever I get HMC stuck in my head, which is all the time these days, I start singing Britney's ad-libs from the end of the song. Y'know, where she sings "hold me closer" three times in a row?

Well, for whatever reason, whenever I get to the third "hold me closer", I just IMMEDIATELY transition into the chorus of "Instant Deja Vu".  Is my brain weird? Am I like the only who's making this musical connection? Do they have the same key? The same BPM? Like why did my brain link these two songs together? And does anyone else hear it?

lol I translated it and she said they should make a mash up between the 2 songs.

honestly I hear how they would work good as a mashup but I don’t hear any similarities between the third hold me closer and the chorus of instant dejavu
