Here's the thing what many Christina, Britney and all the other pop diva fans fail to realize: THIS IS THEIR OWN SUCCESS.

The fact Christina got Grammy awards has nothing to do with you or any of her fans. These are not YOUR awards, they are HER awards. She got them thanks to HER voice and HER music. It's complete cognitive dissonance the way you take pride in someone else's achievements while completely ignoring the achievements you have (or should have) in your own life.

So, good job to CHRISTINA. To you, I guess thanks for the info? I don't know :messbye_britney_pink_leave_walking_running_bye_goodbye_away:

Congrats to Christina on her nominations, the fact that award shows ratings have gone terribly low over the years should alone tell you they are becoming irrelevant this way Taylor swift is much more 'talented and artistic' than Christina. 

If this is about just awards then Britney has more than hers overall, while I do understand you do not like Britney but that doesn't take away the fact that Britney is a much more of a bigger superstar and will always be and people are here for her music. The song she did with elton is a living proof of that, you seem to be very immature and no one can deny Christina has a beautiful singing voice but that doesnr translate into anything sorry your music needs to touch people where she has been very inconsistent. 

No one can take away Christina's talent but you can't do that to Britney as well.

Obviously because the Grammy's focuses on talent like having a powerful voice, while Britney's talent is being a dancer and entertainer. Why would the Grammys award Britney for her dance?

Thats like comparing Jim Carrey and Maryle Streep oscar nominations, both are obviously as talented as each other, but the Oscars dont pay attention to comedy acting.

:meryl_streep_point_yas_yes_meme_proud: Exactly. If Britney fans were more interested in the kind of thing Xtina provides, we'd be more fixated on artists like Adele. Britney and Xtina have both achieved more than 99.999% of singers on the planet, and this bull$hit is boring! 

Ultimately, fame is fickle and mainstream success does wane as a singer ages. Xtina's waned more first, but it'll happen to Britney. And I don't think either of them will be crying in their mansions, with tens of millions to their names, and they can still tour around the world if they both want. It's embarrassing watching people try to make a feud happen like we're 10 years old or something on the playground.

And that's funny. Christina Aguilera sold more than 9 million copies in the USA, Britney about 13 (offically!!!). Worldwide is 15 against 25.  in the USA only (considering Aguilera's #1 singles) they have pretty much the same success in debut eras. Of course Britney wons worldwide.

 

Funny that Stripped (offically!!!) sold 2 million copies in UK and In The Zone only 300k :ineedthetruth_oprah_huh_um_thinking_confused_what_truth_stare:

But anyway. This topic is about Grammys, realize that :ineedthetruth_oprah_huh_um_thinking_confused_what_truth_stare:

Trust me, 9 million copies and 13 million copies are figures with a vast difference of 4 million. That amount is equivalent (if not more) to Xtina's post-Bionic album sales :orangu_orangutan_ape: One is a diamond album and one is a multi-platinum record. However, I will be fair because Christina's self-titled debut definitely hasn't been updated in a very long time so the possibility of a diamond record is admittedly plausible but neither has the figures of BOMT been updated yet! 

According to estimates, self-title is around 10-11 million while BOMT is estimated to be around 15 million so... :tired_so_there_head_tilt_annoyed_see_rose_mcgowan:

Plus, Self-titled was an extremely successful record but it definitely doesn't match up to the sensational Britney phenomenon that was spawned from the success of BOMT. 

Also, you are comparing Britney's 4th album with Christina's 2nd album? :demi_lipstick_flirt_red_pink_makeup: Yet, you say we are the ones who make irrational comparisons :deadbanana_pbj_peanut_butter_jelly_time_yellow:
