It’s not bad but I feel like the vocals were too over-processed to the point where it doesn’t even sound human.

Me and my boyfriend were just trying to be true to the original and he doesn’t usually make processesed auto tuned music , he’s more r&b Neyo vibes so he was excited and had fun with the auto tune

Got it. But I don’t think Britney’s voice was that over produced in the original. Unless you mean you were trying to sound more like her.

Wym?? Britney is super processed !! I did try to sound like her! In high school choir I was a tenor but the song was out of my comfort range however did you hear my vocal fry on “I might be little hazy “ ?

You gave it a go and I couldn't fault you for the effort put forth. It wasn't unpleasant given how affected the vocals were so at least it was harmonized effectively. I humbly feel that the issue was how little of you, or more directly, the characteristics of your voice were lost as a result of the tuning. Don't be ashamed of your natural tone.

Heck, look at Britney, as a result of being expected to sing in a manner less organic to her. Improvement is always possible, but if you refuse to try than the answer is always to remain a 'no'. Try and risk potentially embarrassing yourself. It's all part of the growing process. Don't avoid it, but rather embrace it.

@JayTawndre  might be able to assist on the subject of musicality more so than myself. All the same, put out more covers and see if your confidence doesn't grow from this.
