Why would Britney invite the whole family if they abused her? I feel like any 15 or 16 year old wouldn't have to grasp such a concept.

I know they're brainwashed and see things in a small way because they are young, but one day they are going to look back and realize how foolish and selfish they are.

even back then when the wedding happened, I commented that probably the reason they didn't go was precisely because what were they supposed to do, the two of them alone, without any other family member, dance with Madonna and Cade? 

Yet as you say, he's lacking a minimum of empathy for Britney, ,and I definitely think this is just the result of them not allowing her to be a normal parent to them. They really don't see her as a mother figure, but just as some weird family member that provides for them. 

We'll never understand what it's like to be Britney's son, but they will never understand what it's like to be in her situation either, and they're not even trying to comprehend a little. 

I hope when they're older they're finally able to see their mistake, but I'm not holding my breath on that.

Ah, there it is, the old emotional blackmail.

I am so disgusted to see how this family robbed these children of their mother, and they robbed Britney of their children in the most vicious way possible. I've seen this before and it makes me really, really sad.

Jayden may regret some things he said in the past, and he'll probably regret too some thing he's saying here. I blame the adults in the room. Now they're kids and they see themselves as the center of everything, but I hope in time they come to realize what their mother has really been through. If not... I hope they have a nice life with the family they chose and above all I hope Britney can heal from losing them, although I suppose she already know they're not "hers" anymore.

I think that the kids are entitled to their opinion, and we should not send hate or bad comments their way. At the end of the day, they never saw had a relationship with Britney outside the conservatorship. They only know their mom in controlled environments, and it may have affected their relationship.

One thing that they need to realize though - everyone including K-fed, his wife, and all those 8 kids - that their lifestyle that we see in the pictures is (allegedly) all paid for by BRITNEY. Let's see where everyone stands when this river of cash comes to end.

More than anything, this is sad. It's a very complex situation and who knows what they have been told and brainwashed with. It's also possible that they are genuinely having issues with their mother, which is fairly normal for teenagers but most people don't have the world watching and judging, albeit they are inviting it themselves. Britney's life and experiences has probably added a lot of complexities and nuances to their relationship. They do seem quite detached from the seriousness of the conservatorship abuse and the impact that had on her, but I think they will gain more understanding on that as they get older, it circles back to the fact that it sounds like they have definitely been influenced by their father and others around them.

The person who is really to blame here is Kevin. What a responsible parent would have said is "No, no matter how mad you are at your mom right now, you are not doing an interview and taking this to the public, because when you are older you will probably regret it and it's also going to open you up to a lot of attention and criticism", especially when Britney wasn't even publicising any difficulties in her relationship with her sons, so there was no need to even put this out there in the first place. Clearly Kevin just couldn't resist all of the offer$ he was getting.

But well who has never gone to a family meeting or family occasion they didn't want to go much ? But you go to that kind of family occasion out of respect. It's what being  polite means.

You go to that far cousin's wedding you never seen or to that funeral of the uncle you never liked.

It's not like Britney expected them to stay whole time and act like they really enjoy it .

They could be with her prior to wedding and at the ceremony and then when the party started they could leave.
