Am I the only one side eyeing Taylor? Probably, yes. Could there be a secret shade here? Think about it..."Call Me Maybe" came out around the same time as "We Are Never Getting Back Together" and it was Taylor's first "pop" era..."Call Me Maybe" was like the biggest pop song that year. Thennnn... They both releases 80s pop styled albums the next year. Plus, Carly is on Taylor's enemy's record label.... Is there a secret shade here? Should Carly delay or release her album sooner???

Lol. Taylor would be best pretty much anyone except maybe Adele? So I doubt that she even checks who else is releasing an album that day as long as it’s not one of her famous friends like Ed Sheeran, HAIM, or Selena Gomez. She’d top them all too but probably out of respect

As calculating as I sometimes find Taylor Swift, I don't think she's that calculating. These things happens with release dates. There will be also be overlap with artists who share a similar lane.
