Hey y'all.  I just wanted to start a thread to make people aware of online scamming, particularly in Social Media settings. 

Today, I found out that my boyfriend's Ebay account was hacked and someone sold fake items to people. To make a long story short, he hasn't used his Ebay account in over a year so he hadn't checked it recently. Today, someone showed up to our house to pick up something he was supposedly selling them and they had OBTAINED OUR ADDRESS from the scammer. Ebay is now involved and I hope those victims get their money back but Ebay will not go into detail with us. It's scary. 

 

So, if you have any inactive Ebay accounts, PLEASE go out and shut them down if you can.
