And like I said in another thread, all you Beyoncé stans are weird, all you do is talk about numbers, but I don't really hear you talking about her as an artist, or what's your favorite thing about her or why you even like her in the first place. And that pretty much sums up my point that she has no real impact on people. But ok... only time will tell.

The BeyHive is pretty lucky to get an album filled with incredible vocals, production, and cultural reference. :overwhelm_beyonce_ashamed_lol_embarrassed_telling_talking: And on top of that, a whole visual album and other treats most likely in store. :bareclap_beyonce_slow_clapping:

It’s been 20+ years of continued impact. The visuals are insane. The concept of a surprise album has been replicated time and time again by other artists since 2013. Lemonade was one of the most visually impactful and culturally significant albums to come out in the 2010s. The Coachella performance was genuinely insane and the live album that followed is so valued by vinyl lovers alike. Her octaves and tone are very hard to replicate. None of this is about numbers.

Hold Me Closer WILL be successful. Beyoncé isn’t going to stop that. It’s Britney’s first song in six years and first since her conservatorship. It’s a duet with Elton John…Elton and Britney…TOGETHER.   
 

They’re allowed to both be successful. Maybe sometimes Beyoncé overshadows Britney, sure. This isn’t going to be one of those moments.
