“Toxic Pony” and “Criminal” Have More Daily Spotify Streams Than “Slave 4 U?!”

Granted, this is just daily streams, but is anyone else surprise Slave isn’t in the top 10?

Toxic Pong somewhat makes sense to me since it’s new and fits in with the streaming era, but Criminal?!  Seems out of place.

Thoughts?

Criminal was big on TikTok. I wonder how long it will remain this popular.

I didn't love Slave 4 U when it dropped. It's taken me many years to fall in love with that song, but I still think it's a song a person needs to be in the mood for more than her other songs. I'm not surprised it's not on her top 10.

I agree with you about IUSA.  I didn’t know Criminal was popular on Tik Tok.  Odd choice lol, but I’m sure there was a theme to it.

100% It's spectacularly ****. To me it's one of the best illustrations of her being both a dancer and a musical artist. It's a perfect song for dancing.

You’d be surprised. I was hanging out with a couple of the football players and when Womanizer came on the radio nobody changed it. I couldn’t believe it. For high school at the time, that was insane.

Criminal was a huge hit in many countries (including France & Brazil), with a lot, a lot of covers back in 2011. It's the most memorable/popular single of the FF era. The censored MV + absence of promo (not even putting it on tour lol) kinda killed the charts for the song in the US. 

TikTok helped this song (just like IUSA), I mean it's extremely catchy.

Last but not least, let's appreciate how she managed to put one song per era in the top 10 (except for Britney). The fact that she has a signature song from each era is something very hard to achieve (except for Glory...)
