Get out of the 2000's. A leak song has zero impact on successful streaming. It's about consistency. Break My Soul from Bey, that you're talking about, is the prove of that. It took several weeks to hit #1, and it did cause people like it and kept hearing over and over. 

What we are saying about an early release is only to took advantage of the momentum, since everyone today is talking about the song, what might not be the case in one week.

This. It's so baffling when people talk about 'lost streams' as if there's a limited amount of streams to go around. We're not in the digital era where people who dowloaded the leak won't buy the song.

Plus, only the stan world hear the leak, but they will still stream the song when it comes out. The GP (aka 95% of people) don't know about the leak, and they'll listen to the song when it comes out.

If you’re reading this Britney, please take this as a sign to not rush new music. Your “fans” are ungrateful, messy and negative.  I haven’t heard the song yet but I’m sure it’s going to be amazing. I LOVE the cover. I LOVE that Britney is billed first on the cover. She is in fact a “tiny dancer”. What a beautiful way to dip back into music. Unfortunately it was met with the same toxicity that surrounded all your other releases the past 12 years from people claiming to be fans. Us real fans are very excited for you
