What was your reaction to the bathroom dance scene in Piece Of Me?

Messy and so iconic at the same time. So happy I was like 18/19 at the time cuz we were young, drunk, you know with the friends at the clubs wearing dark shades even though we were in a basement of a bar at 2 am, always a cigarette in one hand. 

The hair up and down, the dance moves, the girl hitting the door, the fact it's taking place in the restrooms..and we had two gay guys at that moment in the video for the first time in Britney's carreer.

I mean Blackout is iconic because it was a mood !

An amazing mess. That video was a breath of fresh air; seeing her having fun, playing around and taking ownership of the media obsession towards her was amazing and incredibly empowering, especially considering everything that was going on at the time. She was a badass, she was the coolest. The Piece of Me video simply is pop culture history ❤️

The actual reason is that the director wanted Britney’s hair down but she wanted it up so that’s why half the scenes were with her hair down and the other with it tied up.

She showed up to set 14 hours late so I think she fought quite a bit with the director

How have I never noticed in all these years how messy the background dancers are during that scene??!!

You can tell they were given 5 mins of practice and then told to roll. They're all looking at each other like wtf and in each shot half of them either aren't doing the moves or are half assing them like its just rehearsal.

Britney is so on point and it actually looks good that the background dancers are a little off, it almost looks intentional and makes the viewer focus on Britney since she’s the only one who’s on time.

It’s a cute little moment.  It’s like a 10 second bit of song…it wasn’t really a SERIOUS choreography moment, I mean she’s in a bathroom with a bunch of seemingly drunk women…It’s not amazing, but it is what it is…  I think it’s cute she did it herself.  I love the POM video.

It was therapeutic for me 

I remember being proud of her for not caring about what people thought and just doing her thing no matter where she was at and in this case she was in the bathroom taking a poo and her favorite song came on haha I loved it

Never was a fan of it. It was very obviously thrown in there quickly and her hair up and down wasnt a symbol of anything, just editing the best shots together. Her not caring to be on time also made me not really like the video. It's rather boring to me.
