Her instagram has been completely wiped. It also appears Jesy or the Little Mix girls have recently unblocked each other on instagram as Jesy's tags are now showing on their accounts and the LM account again.

They are biggest girl group to come out of the UK since the Spice Girls (not saying they are bigger, as they are not). I can bring up all of their receipts when I get a minute.

I was extremely surprised too as I thought this would have been delayed even longer! However, she's apparently had a lot of meetings with different labels the past few weeks.

I agree, I think the album will be quite different to BOYZ. I think there'll be quite a few ballads too.

First of all, thank you very much for sharing this. Secondly i wanna learn all about them as people and a group. Why did they break up and what actually went wrong? Does it tarnish any of the legacy. I’m assuming the music is about girl power. I’m aware they’re on hiatus now right? Is that a “hiatus” nsync and one direction kind of way or will the other…. (4 members?) reunite

Honestly, once you go down the Little Mix hole you'll love them. They are four of the sweetest girls and weirdest girls everrrr! I think I like them so much as they are like Britney and are so down to earth. They know how to put on a show like Britney and they are all about putting on a show.

Brief overview:

Little Mix were formed on The X Factor UK in 2011, they all auditioned as solo artists but Kelly Rowland from Destiny's Child and Tulisa put the four girls together as a group. They went onto becoming the first ever group to win the X Factor.

Little Mix have 5 UK Number 1s, their last Number 1 was during their 10th year together and was Jesy's last single with them, 'Sweet Melody'. They also became the first ever girl group to win Best British Group at The Brit Awards (UK Grammys) in all 50+ years of the awards, they made history.

Little Mix are HUUUGE in the UK, I think it because so many people, like myself grew up with them and they were just so genuine and 'normal' and they started on a family show (The X Factor) which EVERYBODY in the UK watched.

I know you probably won't believe it right now but what made them so special is that all four of them were literally the best of friends, once you go on your Little Mix journey you'll see. The selling factor and brand of Little Mix has always been based around their friendship.

Jesy issues/leaving Little Mix:

Jesy has had manyyyy mental health issues throughout her whole time in the band. When they first started out on The X Factor in 2011 she was viciously trolled online as the 'fat ugly one'. This led to Jesy starving herself to lose weight to look like the other girls. We've always known Jesy suffered with mental health but we didn't know how bad until her critically acclaimed documentary 'Jesy Nelson: Odd One Out'. She revealed she tried to kill herself in 2013 and was in hospital for a while and she'd just stop showing up to performances as she couldn't cope. Over the years, Jesy lost more weight and appeared to gain so much confidence and quickly became one of the most popular members.

Her documentary on trolling and bullying went on to win numerous awards, including a prestigious National Television Award. Trailer:

In 2020 locked down happened and Jesy revealed that she loved not having a schedule and felt so at peace not having to work and that she hated going to work because of her insecurities. It appears a lot of her insecurities were resurfacing around this time. Jesy also revealed after she left the group, the girls were not the issue but it was the Little Mix team would always make her feel uncomfortable and not wanted there. Jesy also admitted due to her own mental health and issues she didn't make it easy for the girls as she was always so upset at work.

On the Sweet Melody video (Jesy's last single/video with the girls) Jesy broke down on the set and this is when she realised it was time to leave. This was around October 2020 and Little Mix's talent show was also airing live weekly too in the UK and you could tell there was something up with her. Then suddenly during album release week for LM's 6th album 'Confetti', Jesy suddenly disappeared and Jesy didn't show up to the live shows on their talent show and to any promo. It turns out during this period Jesy tried to kill herself again and was in hospital for quite some time during the end of 2020.

Jesy's mom, Jesy and the Little Mix girls decided it was right for her to leave as it was not doing her any good. So Jesy announced her departure in December 2020.

This is a BRIEF overview of what led to Jesy leaving, obviously there probably is more that we're not aware of, but this is what is known.

Hiatus

Honestly, even while Jesy was in the band in 2020 she kind of hinted that the girls will all go off and o their own thing soon and come back together. The other girls also made comments to suggest the end was near. So I think the plan was always to have a break very soon. I'm pretty sure if the Confetti tour happened in 2021 when it was supposed to, Jesy would have stayed and left after that. However, they delayed the tour until 2022 because of COVID and Jesy couldn't cope mentally being in the band for that long.

After Jesy left at the end of 2020, it was clear in 2021 that the girls were hinting they'd be going on hiatus after the 2022 tour. Perrie and Leigh-Anne were both pregnant in 2021 and I guess priorities change and they've all waited so long to do their own things.

You make me laugh 

I can't believe you made me write essays  I think it's just because I love them and have grown up with them since 2011.

Yeah they have massive fanbase and lots of success, mainly in the UK/Europe/Asia and Australia - basically everywhere but the USA.

I think it'd be hard for Jesy to return as she's quite openly bashed their team  However, Geri from the Spice Girls left because of mental health and fell out with the other girls too.

You never know what will happen, I think if Jesy did return it'd be in a VERY long time, maybe 10 years or something. I don't know what her relationship is like with the girls right now but I still think things are still very fresh. I just hope they can become civil at the very least, Jesy has said nothing but nice things about them since she left and said they are killing it as a three and better than ever. I just think Jesy has made it very hard for herself, especially publicly slamming the LM management team but it sounds like they deserved it.

Let me and @MikeHunt know what you think about them/their discography whenever you get a chance to delve in  They have 7 albums (one is a greatest hits though with new songs).
