OK wow, that video is S-T-U-N-N-I-N-G... I kinda feel like it must have cost at least a million dollars to make?? The visuals are absolutely insane... It's jut flawless: photography, lighting, editing, fashion, make up, hair, choreography, props, stages, my gawd... I cannot even imagine the amount of creative professionals involved in this.

...but the song? SO underwhelming. I actually think it's garbage. Already done, and it doesn't even sound good or memorable. It's crazy how they can offer so much on one side but be a completely let down on the other. That's typical of K-pop bands though... (except for BIGBANG, which ended up doing fantastic music as well as visuals).

I will admit the song isn't as epic as I thought it would sound for a comeback single but it's still a bawp and the raps are really good. 

The video is AMAZING though, BLACKPINK never fail to deliver with their videos!! They always look so high-end and stunning, and the choreo is flawless as always.

Because they're like 4 Britneys in one group, plus they've been the biggest girl group for a while now around the world. I'm positive that's exactly the reason why 'Hold Me Closer' didn't drop yesterday (wich btw, I don't think it's gonna trend everywhere lol, Britney and Elton won't be promoting it).

Honestly you have to understand that one song doesn't represent an artist.

Even though I think it's a good song overall but not their best, they have so many really good songs on their albums. It's just a b-side and not the full album that is coming in september...
