rumor Britney is reportedly recording a revenge album

None of us know what Britney is planning or not planning because it's completely up to her now, but Britney releasing a "revenge" album at a point in the future shouldn't be a surprise at all.

Britney has said she felt like people are waiting to jump on her for making a mistake, and last week in court her fathers lawyer, who currently hasn't been paid by her father, claimed that she wouldn't be where she was without him, as if everyone one of us bought albums, merch or tour tickets to see Jamie's, and not Britney. An idiotic statement, in my opinion.

 

If I try and put myself in Britney's shoes, I could imagine thar I would want to make sure the world knew that I did it. I brought in the money. I got the reviews. I did the work and no-one else can take credit for that, and one of the biggest ways to do that would be an album.

 

Look, its a rumour with no source, but if there's any truth to it, it's that Britney doesn't go down without a fight.

But tbh, it reminds me of a Disney Adventures magazine article (yes... Disney Adventures for those who remember) that claimed that Britney decided after Oops to go for a more wholesome "girl next door" vibe for her next album and tone down the ***iness.  Then the next song she dropped was Slave.

Also, I wouldn't be surprised either way.  She might be interested in rediscovering her voice in the studio, or she could want to focus on other things.  And I don't think it's as simple as saying "she wants a kid so no."  Blackout was recorded mostly when she was expecting and look how that turned out! 

Still - until she says she's recording, I'm going to assume this is all fan fiction.  And I'm 100% in favor of Britney doing whatever the **** she wants to do.

It’s seriously not that hard to imagine she wants to record a new album now that she has full control of her life. She just recorded Tiny Dancer, what makes you think that didn’t get her excited to record more music? Everyone on here is always so negative lmao. If she wants a kid that shouldn’t stop her from making music? She recorded Blackout when she was pregnant, why would that change anything now.
