On August 1, 1999, Britney Spears attended the Teen Choice Awards at the Barker Hangar in Santa Monica, California. She performed a medley of Sometimes and (You Drive Me) Crazy.

 

She won some awards, and was nominated to other categories that she lost:

• Choice Female Artist: lost to Brandy
• Choice Music Single: ...Baby One More Time
• Choice Music Album: ...Baby One More Time
• Choice Breakout Artist: lost to 98 Degrees
• Choice Music Video: lost to Backstreet Boys' All I Have to Give
• Choice Female Hottie: lost to Jennifer Love Hewitt

This performance is so underrated but she killed this live vocals and all. This is the kind of performances I wish she kept doing when she would belt and prove she could sing first before killing the stage with her dance moves

Yes! This performance is incredible! And you’re exactly right: the vocals on Sometimes are amazing, and the transition into the Crazy choreography is perfect.
 

I think this is also one of the few times Britney is part of the full intro choreography. If I remember correctly, she often would join her dancers after most of the hard hitting choreo to kick off the vocals. An example of another performance is on Leno below, another favorite. But she absolutely slays that intro and is low key one of her best award show dance breaks.
