Shakira's, previously Facebook exclusive, alternate version of "Don't Wait Up" is now available on her YouTube channel

Last year, Shakira released an alternate version of her video Don't Wait Up exclusively on Facebook, that intercalates behind the scenes clips along with the official's video footage. On Facebook it accumulated more than 23 million views.

Today it was uploaded to her official YouTube channel.

 

Don't Wait Up was released last summer as the first single off her upcoming album, which still doesn't have a release date. This year it was followed up by the sleeper hit Te Felicito featuring Rauw Alejandro.

I cannot believe how underwhelming her vocals in this song are... She sounds like a rookie. No emotion at all, so uninspiring...

And I love the minimalistic electronic sound ala Kylie in "Fever" but this still sounds like a demo.
