exciting news has come out! She’s putting out a new documentary on Netflix in just a few days…

check out the trailer it has clips of a new song…

What?? I JUST Listened to the "Up!" album!! :O
I want to see this!! But it's so hard for me to listen to her voice now... It's so cracky that it makes me uncomfortable, as much as I hate to admit it... :(

PS: Do you guys know why is the documentary called "Not Just a Girl"? I can hear it comes with a new song with the same name but it kind of feels random? I imagined she'd be known for something else, a name more representative, I don't know... Or am I missing sth?? A famous lyric perhaps?

I have always been a huge Shania fan but her new material on her last album was so disappointing. I hope she found better producers for this new album.

I love Shania! I can’t wait for new music! I feel like I know most about her life and musical journey but it’ll still be interesting to see her peers speak on her legacy! I hope she drops new info we fans didn’t know about.

ugh I know... It's a like a demo album, SO underwhelming... It does not resist a second listen.

I wanted to like it soooo badly but it just felt soulless. The only songs I can relisten to are "Because of You", "Swinging With My Eyes Closed", "We Got Something they dont" and "Light Of My Life"

I'll admit that Shania was my original queen before I found Britney. 'Come on Over' was the first CD I ever bought in 1997 and to date is one of my favorite albums of all time. I saw her in her prime and saw her twice in the last 6 years. She's truly an icon and when you layer on her life story, it makes me love her even more.

Love Shania! Looking forward to this doc! I think besides her music being amazing part of the reason I loved her so much was because I loved  her behind the music episode. So I’m looking forward to revisiting her past, but that came out in the late 90s it will be interesting to hear more about the up era and things that have happened in the past 20 years.

I’ll always wonder what another album with Mutt would have sounded like and how it would have done. 
She had made comments about making a Christmas album years ago. I think that would have been amazing with some Mutt magic too. 
 

I had some great experiences seeing her on the Now tour so I do enjoy the album…but maybe it’s not as catchy as some of the previous work. 
 

Excited to see the studio behind the scenes and what all this covers as well.

Wow, the preview looks great and better than I anticipated.  I’ll definitely be tuning in. She isn’t one of the 25 biggest female artists of this generation and the last for nothing!
