While originally planned to be a Double A-Side with Fan Favorite, the discotastic " Never Give Up on the Good Times", that was Cancelled as Geri Halliwell left the group on 31 of May officially, but as Mel B, said she called us on my Birthday, and said she was leaving, what a way to ruin my day (if you do your rasearch on YouTube, most side with Geri, as The girls were just mean and bullies and couldn't see how unhappy she was and very much sad).

 

So Viva Forever was the lone single as it was just the 4 of them despite revealing Geri, had mainly done the work with Richard stannard herself on this track.

 

According to Geri, it's actually a sad song, people mistake it as a lost love, but it's actually about mourning a person who died, and you're wanting them back, but they're never coming back.

Promotion was poor, due to the girls in America, for their 40 date sold out tour of the US, according to the girls, it was weird how they started the sun was up and when they ended their show it was dusk..

 

Victoria got weird looks for wearing her fur coats, in extreme heat, but like she said, you never know when a fan wants that photo, they don't want Victoria, so i have to be posh as well walking the city. 

 

For Melanie C she found the food weird, salads and baked beans more sweeter than a local can of heinz baked bean's 

 

 

Mel B only problem, when you say you love her, but you don't know her, so how can you love her or someone you never met.

 

Single topped the charts for two weeks, and was a success, despite not being issurd in the US, hasbro sold a line of toys of the girls dressed in their viva forever, outfits, with the video as a bonus.

Australia sold limited edition cds, of the four girls as individual covers, a competition to get a Ginger cover to complete it, 500 ginger ones was made.

 

Ebay, for just the 4 girls alone asks for 500 to 1.5 thousand Australian dollars making it one of the most expensive rarites to date..

For the 1998 tour began with Geri.

 

But beginning in Oslo, Norway, the 4 Piece took over with Mel C adding "Spice Girls forever" during the final choruses, where critics stated, out of all 5 Melania C shows who has the vocals in the group with her having all the high notes that the others can't achieve..

 

2007-2008, Geri performs with the girls, but as the mel c and Mel B ends the song, a spotlight is on Geri alone watching her descend the stage, signaling she left the group, as the return of the Spice girls storyline mirrored thr group itself..

 

The Spiceworld 2019 tour, saw Geri took over for Victoria while they did a more Geri friendly version of "Holler", even attitude (British gay men's magazine) said Forever is the album that Would've never happened if Geri was still around, Schizophonic would be the 3rd album from the girls.l

The ballads was  kept in the same arrangement, Viva Forever happened after the queer tango, where men danced with men, noting that the Spice girls biggest fan base is gay men after all..dedicating that song to the gay men that's supported them since day one..
