Larry Rudolph, the Maloof Family, and the Tri Star Connection : A Research Thread

Recommended Posts

Okay, Super Sleuths,

A big ol' hat tip to @Mx_Defying for this one... :imcute_britney_ftr_for_the_record_hat_paris_french_smile_grin_happy:

Larry Rudolph ~~~> George Maloof ~~~> Lou M. Taylor

It only took two entries in the Chronological Timeline to realize that billionaire George Maloof is the connection between Larry Rudolph and Tri Star Sports & Entertainment Group.

We know that James Parnell was George Maloof's personal chef in Los Angeles for four years, thanks to Larry Rudolph.

But what else do we know about the Las Vegas-based Maloof family?

Please help us draw more connections by dumping your knowledge here.

Happy Sleuthing!

...

Apr. 9, 2005 - GQ reports that Queens-born NBA player Ron Artest, of the Indiana Pacers, has hired a new management team led by Nashville-based Lou M. Taylor of Tri Star Sports & Entertainment Group. The Tri Star team takes what they call a "holistic" approach to managing celebrities.

Jan. 25, 2006 - Queens-born NBA player Ron Artest is traded from the Indiana Pacers to the Sacramento Kings. The Kings are owned by Las Vegas billionaire George Maloof.

June 7, 2006 - US Weekly reports that Britney's family has hired a Christian life coach to assist in her decision to file for divorce from Kevin Federline.

Aug. 5, 2006 - By now, Jamie Lynn Spears is a client of Tri Star Sports & Entertainment Group. According to president Lou M. Taylor's bio, "I focus on making a difference in our business by operating a life management model that includes a cohesive working relationship with each member of a client’s team to ensure maximum professional support and counsel." The Tri Star website lists the staff as including Taylor and Mitch Martin.

The timing...

Aug. 21, 2004 - James Spears is released from a rehabilitation facility in Malibu after being treated for alcohol addiction. He is picked up from the facility by Britney and Kevin Federline.

Jan. 18, 2005 - James P. Spears changes the name of his company "Develop & Design Build, Inc." to "Spears Management, Inc." James is the President and sole shareholder. The documents are signed in Venice, California.

May 2005 - The second season of "Zoey 101" starring Jamie Lynn Spears begins filming on the campus of Pepperdine University in Malibu, California.

Jan. 25, 2006 - Queens-born NBA player Ron Artest is traded from the Indiana Pacers to the Sacramento Kings. The Kings are owned by Las Vegas billionaire George Maloof.

...

So...

Ron Artest, who is from the same hometown as Larry Rudolph, brings Lou M. Taylor with him when he is traded to the Sacramento Kings, which is owned by George Maloof.

Is this the time period when Lou becomes the business manager of JL, who is at that point working with talent manager Graciella Sanchez?

What do we know about George Maloof's involvement in this incident?

Jan. 3, 2004:

"George Maloof Jr., owner and operator of the Palms Casino Hotel, confirmed that the 22-year-old Spears married Jason Allen Alexander of Kentwood, La., about 5:30 a.m. Saturday at a Las Vegas wedding chapel.

"Nobody knew it was coming," said Maloof, Spears' good friend.

The two arranged an annulment Saturday afternoon in the presence of several people, including a Las Vegas lawyer, said a source who is close to Spears and who spoke on condition of anonymity. The signed annulment will be filed when the courts open this morning, the source said."

Nov. 28, 2009:

"Former Indiana Pacers star Ron Artest and his sister are at the center of a welfare fraud investigation.

Police and housing authorities raided the home Latoya Holmes-Ivey and her three children rent at 336 E. Burgess Ave. Wednesday morning, 6News' Rafael Sanchez reported.

Holmes-Ivey was receiving taxpayer-supported rent assistance because she claimed she had no income, but investigators said she may have been getting money from her brother.

The tip came from a former CPA at Tennessee-based TriStar Sports and Entertainment, the company that represents Artest, who now plays for the Los Angeles Lakers.

According to court documents, the ex-employee sent an e-mail to the Housing and Urban Development Office in Indianapolis claiming that TriStar, under the direction of Artest, was using one of his bank accounts to pay all of Holmes-Ivey's bills."

That is my old timeline! https://docs.google.com/document/d/1J3Vt3JEvkkX82-KUoTJ8tJvMfhLY44u1/edit

Jamie was working for Adrienne Maloof at least by 2007 - I have an article from Dlisted.

Jamie started an online poker business with them in January 2006. https://www.gettyimages.com/detail/news-photo/singer-britney-spears-and-family-father-jamie-brother-bryan-news-photo/539633370?adppopup=true

We have seen this picture a lot right? But of course they always leave out what the event even was.

The Maloofs owned the Fiesta Casino before the Palms Casino, which they bought it started in 2001. Jamie has said he is known the Maloofs  at least since the beginning of the Palms. https://www.reviewjournal.com/entertainment/britney-spears-dad-and-me-in-the-kitchen-talk-crawfish/

Jamie has two IMDb pages. George Maloof is central to all of this because he was besties with Larry for a long time and may have connected with him via the other arm of the Maloof heirs that are in South Florida.

Wow, this is news to me. I wonder who this former CPA is and why this person’s vendetta against Tri Star included Artest’s sister? That’s an odd target if you are trying to expose your employer’s fraud.

This is a very simplified connection compared to what I have now

you should really download my interactive timeline because then you can just search their name and it’ll be so much easier. TPG capital is really important because they are all in the set up for a Piece of Me.

George had talked about wanting Britney in Vegas as early as I think 2005.

I am Femme Fatale was shot at the Palms.

In Laura Wasser’s podcast with Khloé Kardashian she says that she was introduced to Lamar Odom through hosting a party for Ron Artest. They got married in 2009  at Irving Azoff’s house one month after meeting. Wasser also says she represented Artest

Irving is the one who took Lou Taylor to the next level – I think when Courtney Love said in a text message she posted when she was checking in on the credibility of Rosengart… That [redacted name] “pushed Lou Taylor onto everyone .. the Jenners etc
