Lady Gaga's Chromatica Ball Tour

Recommended Posts

I was at the first London show last night! My dad ended up coming with me too as he managed to get a ticket earlier in the week. It helps he’s been to the stadium before as he’s a Spurs fan.

Honestly, one of the best concerts I’ve ever been to. I’m not even joking. Everything is so much better in person. Gaga’s dancing and singing were phenomenal, the stage and visuals were incredible. My dad really enjoyed it too even though he’s not a Gaga fan in the slightest (he did come with me to ARTRAVE though). He enjoyed the piano section the most.

The performances I loved the most? The opening of Bad Romance, Replay, Chromatica II to 911, Telephone, Free Woman (with Gaga travelling through the crowd to get to the b-stage), Born This Way (she went from a piano version to the original!), 1000 Doves (the piano version of the song is beautiful), and Stupid Love went AWF too. Hold My Hand actually works better as an encore then I thought (although I saw a lot of people leaving after Rain On Me ddd). Only downside was she didn’t perform The Edge of Glory because of the curfew (if she had been on stage bang on 8:30pm she might have though).

I now have a headache, sore throat and blisters on my feet (brought new shoes for the concert lol) but I guess it was worth it.

Everyone going tonight have an incredible time, you deserve it!! :yasqueen_yes_wow_crying_praise_tears_wipe_sad:
But also remember the bag rules (someone in the bag queue in front of me was stupid enough to bring a rucksack), be prepared to queue for merch if you’re in entrances 19-22, have your debit/credit card for purchases (the stadium is cashless), keep hydrated (it’s hot in London!!) and keep safe coming home, Tottenham is a pretty rough area at night and thankfully I had my dad with me. Also, be prepared to wait a while if you’re taking the tube due to the rail strikes.

I’ve been to the Arnhem show. It was hands down the best concert I’ve ever been to. Her vocals are out of this world and her energy was insane. She gave me everything I wanted and more. The setlist was even better than I expected. If only she performed Alejandro though, but no complaints at all.

OH MY GOD.

IT WAS AMAZING! I didn't expect to enjoy it so much, she actually killed it and had so much passion and energy. I loved it.

I was a casual fan before, now i'd say i'm a big fan! Everyone I met was so so nice as well!

Monster and Replay were highlights for me! Tbh I enjoyed it all, apart from Shallow.

I'm so glad she brought back The Edge of Glory for yesterday's show.

Glad the concert converted you!! It seems she started a bit earlier last night, so lucky you got The Edge of Glory!

They should fire whoever is responsible for the stage. Very low, so not much visibility, and the middle stage bit, has a piano decorated with branches, which makes impossible to see her from the right side, and from the left side you see her back.

Yeah, a half round Stage almost always is better. In Germany the stadium even sold tickets that were right and left or behind the screens fot he upper seats...

Tbf that's the stadium's fault. Tottenham Hotspur Stadium didn't put these seats up for sale. I do agree the stage was a bit low but I still liked the design of it though. I feel like Gaga's always had really good stage designs. The Born This Way Ball remains one of her best.

Id rather get a ****ty stage where I can see the artist, than a super cool stage that is hiding the performance.

Fair enough. I will say though, that stage had one of the best video screens from any tour I've been to, it gave me a good view of Gaga without needing to look at the stage at times.

Glad you enjoyed it! I was there on Saturday night too and had an amazing time! It was truly incredible. It's the fourth time I've seen Gaga and I would definitely say this one surpassed the others in the production.

I was in the GA too and had a decent view. Sometimes she was blocked but she moved around the stage so much it was never for too long. And then I had an amazing view at the B Stage, I couldn't believe it!

Also, I caught Covid at the show and have heard a lot of other people did too so keep an eye out if you start showing symptoms! :cooltshirt_thumbs_up_britney_pom_piece_of_me:

What is this? It's not loading for me :gloria_falling_stairs_trip:

Oh I guess it got deleted, but someone who went on Saturday tweeted that the show was being filmed. Turned out not to be true. The cameras they saw were probably just to film for the video screens.
