It's so weird how Middle Eastern culture is more accepting of transgenders than they are of gays. It's basically the opposite of the West in every regard.

Middle Eastern/Islamic culture can be so toxic…and I say this as a fellow Middle Easterner and someone who grew up on Islam (ex-Islam). Often times, we are shamed by our peers, families, etc. for not studying medicine and/or law. *******uality is heavily frowned upon. If you’re driving anything but a BMW or Mercedes, you are belittled. Don’t get me wrong, our culture is beautiful in many ways but also very backwards at times.

they are not accepting of them. They just think gay people are so repulsive that they would rather pretend a man is a woman so they can pretend that they are straight. Dont call that accepting. Its sick.
