This Day in Pop: 'Radar' music video premieres in 2009 (July 1st)

I remember this time so well like it was yesterday, from the moment Radar was announced to be included on the Circus track list to being confirmed as the fourth single following If U Seek Amy, then the Candy’s promo announcement and, finally, this MUSIC VIDEO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I watched it a million times, I bought it on iTunes, the horses, the polo, the OUTFIT. Effortlessly glamorous and endlessly watchable. The Candy’s ad meant the song was everywhere. It was a proper end to the Circus era, although a fifth single would have been appreciated, maybe a song that wasn’t released in 2007…

Waste of money... Sorry not sorry. Radar didn't deserve to be a single and the video was nothing special...

I agree with the fire in her eyes. But the music video is awful. It's like if "Gimme More" would've been in a flower shop, in broad daylight, and Britney would hand out flowers (Roses, if you will) to customers screaming Gimme More. The video doesn't match the song. AT ALL!

I kinda like that concept more than the actual GM video

But I keep thinking how much better a futuristic video would've been during Blackout

The Blackout concept for the video was much better. I always love the ‘Britney and her girls’ videos!
