During the court hearings they had the head of DC at Warner brothers and he even stated she was only in about 10 mins total. And a lot of her parts were going to be shortened anyways due to the time limit of the film and the narrative. 
They don’t care about petitions or whatever, it’s all about the story.

The Batman is not the typical "superhero" movie by any mean... There are no superpowers or anything like that. It is SUCH an awesome experience... I suggest you, give it a look! ;-)

The same with Joker. It is a very realistic/serious/dark movie.
