Christ, I remember when that series just came out and this song came up on my playlist when I was walking my dog and I would just start sobbing. In the rain. On multiple occassions.

OMG that series WRECKED me! It was the first time I cried watching a TV series! It made me realize how much I take for granted being a young gay man in 2022.

Recently stumbled upon this cover and expected the worst. I was pretty surprised, the voice fits perfectly, the production is very good and the cover sounds like a modern version. I can enjoy both versions equally, the original and the cover

There's also a heavy metal version by a band called Placebo and people said it's actually pretty good and going by the rock charts, it's actually was massive number one on their respective airplay charts for 18 weeks..in the late 90s. 

 

So there was love for kate Bush, but listening to her and the rest of American 80s, it was difficult to push someone that wasn't mainstream but the UK loved her.

 

It's like enya with the true actual ARTPOP genre with it without the odd imagery.

I was thinking why didn’t they use this version!! The modern/retro 80s synths would fit much better!  But it came out in 2019 lol

The series is set in the 80s.

 

However one thing is being called out, that's will's hair cut..

 

Apparently they have sympathy for Noah, as they agree it makes him look younger, and the bowl cut was more popular in the 60s, during the Beatles era than the 80s..

 

So the team needs to update it, cos it's cruel unless it has toes to the under side.
