I honestly think those who find her strange or uncomfortable either weren’t Britney fans pre-conservatorship OR just aren’t true fans of Britney the person and more fans of Britney the celebrity.

I disagree. It’s a different type of quirkiness in my perspective.  But I don’t want to argue about it since we are entitled to our feelings and Britney has been thru a lot.

It’s not that I was giving her permission, it’s that I was avoiding responses telling me she is allowed to do whatever she wants. Had I not added that, people (like you) would have said exactly that. But since I avoided it, people (like you) still find a way to flip it back on me because you don’t like my opinion. On the other hand, your opinion doesn’t bother me, because we are both entitled to one.

It's so funny how some people see something "crazy" or "weird" when they look at her Instagram. What I see is a woman sticking a huge middle finger up the world and all of their expectations and demands they have put on her and on all women. Her resilience and comfort to be herself is so confusing to them, that if she's not doing what they deem to be appropriate for her, "she must be crazy"... Britney has really always been kind of a mirror to the way society treats women and it's kind of fascinating yet also sad :disbelief_britney_surprised_shocked_wow:

no, condoned is right. her family accepted and allowed her torture in that facility/in therapy. her father had the power to get her out of there, and not put her there in the first place, or send her to therapists that she did not want to go to and he did nothing.
