I remember thinking it was bold that they left the movie on such a bittersweet/almost sad kind of ending. It ended with her in Vegas but she just kinda stares off into the camera and you can tell she’s not fully happy

 

It’s a bit more eye opening/chilling post free Britney movement. At the end of the day, it wasn’t a very good film

really bad but i had an amazing time watching it because it was so entertaining. the fact that even team con didn't want any part of it, they couldn't get the rights to any of her songs, the fact that they got actors that couldnt dance to play both her AND jt...

Disaster from the start!

The fact that they didnt cast someone who not only looks like her but could sing or dance or has charisma

and also had cheap and tacky production.

They couldnt even replicate her VMAS performances correctly!
They put a fkn HAT on her in the 2007 one!

 

It was just a mess.

I hope that one day she gets a REAL feature film made for her like Selena.

She deserves it and that would be great

It was perhaps not the worst unofficial Lifetime bio film. The girl does look like Britney, the shots are very well done, but it’s 5 years out of date anyway. They’ll probably be making another one soon.

Yep, also agree that it's so bad it's good. Total guilty pleasure! And the guy that plays JT is hilarious - the dance-off scene in the nightclub

I always thought this line implied that JT hooked up with Britney when she was a minor. Being that she's older now, you know ... it's now legal if you know what I mean.

Omg I never thought of it that way but it could be true but then again they were born the same year.

It was decent tbh. I didn’t watch it as ‘Britney’s story’, I saw it as a story inspired by Britney so it was a lot easier to enjoy.

I admit, I’ve watched it more than a few times. It’s a pretty terrible movie, but it is a fun watch. I can’t take it too seriously, cuz it’s just ridiculous.

I enjoyed and found really interesting how they showed her team after the Cship

The scenes were you can see like the Making Of of what seems to be For The Record.

That was a very good portrayal, especially because it was before #freebritney.

The only two good things about this "movie"; most of the people around Britney are portrayed as an ********* as they are IRL, and the ending where she says "I see the crowd and I want them to be happy... I mean shoot, we all deserve to be happy" but she doesn't seem to be happy to be in vegas. Everything else is total garbage from actors to music and direction
