Telephone [Final Remaster]

Using the amazing remaster by Cardi as a base and the amazing amount of filtered vocals from PieceOfBrit I was finally able to create a final version of Britney's Telephone. I blended Myah Marie, Lady Gaga, Beyonce, and Britney herself to create a much bigger, brighter, and clear sounding chorus that even the best remasters lack. Listening closely to Britney's demo, it was clear to me that the chorus was a relatively flat take and nowhere as near as explosive as Lady Gaga's final version (as is the case in the demo feat. Britney & Gaga). I modeled the vocal layering after Hold It Against Me and Break the Ice. This is a project I've been working on since 2019, and Cardi's incredible remaster was the perfect base to use to finish this project! Let me know what you think   I'm genuinely proud of this and have been bopping to it for the last couple of days!

I blended in her "hello" with Britney's for the beginning because I always found that part to be the worst offender in the case of the autotune the Britney demo was assaulted with. It is literally split in half. The "Hel" from Myah and the "lo" from Britney. She's then blended in and fades out so the cut isn't so apparent. She's blended into the second verse of the song for more clarity but she is not nearly as present as Britney is throughout the song. As a matter of fact, Britney's clear vocals from the chorus take more predominance than Myah Marie

just would love to hear Myah as less as possible, although i love her

Thank you  I was genuinely excited to show everyone but I understand why the beginning might be a little off putting with Myah’s dub, but I seriously can’t stand the robotic “hello hello baby” part  I thought I blended Myah in really well to the rest of the song though! She’s just as present as Gaga and Beyoncé, but I guess some people don’t like it and I respect that!

Last night I was trying to construct Britney singing the hello hello baby part ala the Bare project where I take different sounds she sang but it was really hard! Maybe I’ll try again sometime….

90% of the stuff Britney did after 2008 was in fact sung by Myah Marie. That’s the sad truth.
