Why do we forget about The Answer & Don’t Hang Up?

Happy Friday, we made it! :kisses2all_britney_pom_piece_of_me_green_blowing_kissing:

I was listening to In the Zone this morning because that’s what legends do :queenflopga_pink_sass_walking_away_bye:, and Apple Music suggested I listen to the Bonus Track Version, which includes bops Don’t Hang Up and The Answer. And it made me think how I usually forget about these tracks since they’re not on the standard edition. :cackling_cackle_lol_what_unbelievable_disbelief_glasses_meme:

But then I wondered, “Why don’t I hear more fans talking about these tracks? :kesha_sunglasses_pink_talking_telling:“ Do y’all forget about these tracks as well? :omggg_shocked_hand_old_lady_woman_surprised: Are they too good that people are afraid to talk about them? :katycry_perry_crying_tears_sad_sobbing:

Don’t Hang Up is one of my favorite Brinni tracks ever! Both DHU and The Answer deserved to be on the standard version of the album.

Honestly, The Answer did have to grow on me a bit. Sonically, it sounds a little separated from the rest of ITZ, so I’m not sure if that’s what turned me off at first. But for some reason, the track has been stuck in my mind and I’ve found myself humming along to it at random moments. :duadance_lipa_new_rules_green_pink_dancing:

Yes, Don’t Hang Up definitely deserved a spot on the standard edition of ITZ. Britney’s bonus tracks always come for our necks, tbh! :yasqueen_yes_wow_crying_praise_tears_wipe_sad:

The Answer kinda sounds like the second cousin of Outrageous, twice removed…. Like you know The Answer exists but sometimes forget it’s part of the family. :katycry_perry_crying_tears_sad_sobbing:

I haven't. Don't Hang Up is one of my favourite songs on In the Zone and it should have been on the standard edition. It sits well among Breathe On Me and Touch Of My Hand in my opinion. The Answer is also a cute underrated R&B-influenced song.
