I feel like for as long the c-ship lasted she had to disown this era of her life, but it's probably the most "herself" she's ever been, so I'm really happy to see her acknowledging her "sassy horned naughty days".

this post made me think that maybe we all see 2007 as one of the worst years of her life but she sees it in a different way. at the end of the day it was her last year as a free woman

Yes, even though 2007 was obviously a really tough year for her, at the same time I've always thought of 2007 as the year in which she was the most free, when she was really breaking loose from the image they had created for her. And then she got punished for it with the conservatorship, because they hated not being able to control her.
