Disney says that its future characters will be 50% LGBTQ+ or minorities

Children's brains are not fully developed yet, this should be a conversation for later on in their lives, and when THEY ask about it. We should teach them about love, respect, and other values, but ***uality? That's pushing it. Also, Disney is and should be an entertainment company, not an educational one. They are stepping out of their line.

Did everyone see that 17 Disney employees were recently arrested for s** trafficking children?

Out of 108 arrested in a sting, four Disney employees were arrested. One for soliciting who he thought was a minor and the other three for soliciting adult prostitutes. I’ve tried finding what you mentioned and all the sources that come up read what I wrote. Yes it’s still awful but inflating numbers to make a story sound more salacious to enhance your narrative isn’t right. Can you post your sources that wrote what you previously stated?

Removing boys and girls and ladies and gentlemen? Disgusting. Purposely confusing otherwise settled children about s** and gender, Disney are such ped_philes

How is saying “hello everyone” and “hello friends” confusing children about séx and gender? I personally don’t think they should remove “ladies and gentlemen” “boys and girls”, but how does this change in dialogue make Disney pedos?

They say that but it's not gonna be that visible/explicit.

"Luca" could be interpreted as somewhat gay but the director wants none of that/rejects the idea.

In Fantastic Beasts, Grindewald is apparently gay with, who, Dumbledore? But they don't even kiss in a flashback or anything, so... boring.

They will make loads of black, asian, hispanic etc characters. But i dont think there will be explicit gays and lesbians in Disney yet. Maybe a gay or transgender sidekick with a light-hearted, fun attitude. #stereotypesarestillliving.

I don't know the details of this bill, and I don't necessarily agree with Dinsey's "50% of the characters will be minorities" policy as if it was a Math problem, or as if that was an accurate representation of reality, but I also don't see the problem with it if that was the case.

When THEY ask about it? Isn't around 5 years old when kids seem like they don't know other words but "WHY", "HOW", etc? Or as we would say in Spanish "la edad de los por qué". And 99% of the times, these questions will include the one that makes every parent sweat: where do babies come from? and the like. Or in the opposite, if a person never asks about it by age 10 or 15 or 30, then they should never be talked about it?

Regardless of kids' education, which is a whole different subject, I don't know who's talking about ***uality on this Disney thing, or why that's the only thing that could be related to LGBTQ minorities. A non-straight couple / character could perfectly be used to show love, respect and other values too, otherwise then they should also get rid of any display of hetero***ual relationships as well

If a kid can understand the relationship between a man and a woman, then they can perfectly understand a gay relationship too, you don't need different levels of maturity to understand each concept, because it's the same concept. And not every character needs to be in an actual relationship either, regardless of their hypothetical orientation. If the fear is that kids will "become gay" or get confused by being exposed to it too much or too early, I think it's enough to see how many gay kids grew up watching straight couples on every movie and show and still ended up being gay :yaknow_britney_xfactor_X_factor_talk_tell_chat_you_know:

That's without mentioning that not only kids or teenagers watch Disney movies or shows, I mean, how many adults keep watching stuff produced by Disney throughout their lives?

Anyways, I don't live in the US and I don't even watch any Disney movies or shows, but I've seen lots of arguments in the internet that leave me like :umwtf_britney_wth_um_wow_eyes_big_okay:

Yeah, Disney movies are notorious for showing mature subjects like romantic relationships, which I think are inappropriate as well. And about children asking questions, they ask a lot at that stage but not all questions are the same or come at the same time, so my argument remains.

As someone who grew up with hetero everything shoved down my throat, I find this hypocrisy hilarious. :madonna_weird_alien_cuckoo_nuts:  I remember watching Disney cartoons where the couple would kiss. Now people are mad that gay relationships are going to be included and talked about? The "don’t say gay" bill is just ridiculous. Good for Disney, stay pressed. :rihclap_rihanna_clapping_applause_yes_yas:
