course its not a HIT but i always respected the track because its genuine and PURE

and once u become a parent u understand it better... like "weird" sentences as "I smell ur breath, it make sme cry" makes more sense now

As someone else has also used this against me no I am not and that’s irrelevant to the silly lyric sick of these “you don’t understand you don’t have kids” comments insensitive and again irrelevant

It always confuses me why people find the line 'I smell your breath it makes me cry' cringy... maybe it's because English isn't my first language but I can totally imagine the feelings when you smell your newborn baby's breath.

I always find it to be a sweet & genuine song to her baby boys and I love it.

Well as a non parent that I’ve been reminded of twice now in this thread I understand it but lyrically it sounds weird to me and it’s funny

I'm not a parent as well and the song came out when I was 15, but even back then I could understand the sentiment. Buut this is not a dig at you at all I could see that maybe 'breath' has different connotations..

its a fact that u dont understand what she meant with this "silly lyric" probably because u're not a parent.

its not irrelevant because TO SMELL BABY BREATH its something parents do, if you were one, you would know.

its not insensitive because I DONT MEAN YOU SHOULD BE A PARENT, NOR YOU SHOULD EVEN WANT TO BE A PARENT.

I’ve never heard of anyone ever smelling their babies breaths and I have 8 nieces and nephews, plenty of friends with children and this isn’t a thing and it most definitely doesn’t make anyone cry stop shoving your opinion on this stupid lyric on to me goodbye
