Had i to answer this = my own thread, id say when I Kissed A Girl by Katy Perry was released 2008 i was crazy about the song and it replaced my 2008 former favorite's Piece Of Me first spot for many months

music is an important topic for me to discuss and i mean absolutely no harm by discussing it ;)

OK, I would say many songs actually. I remember being obssesed with Uptown funk by Bruno Mars and I always felt like that style would suit Britney a lot, like she has so much swag that she could slay that out!!! 

I have also liked many songs actually regardless if i felt like they would suit Britney or not. I remember ed sheeran being A THING to me when the X album came out. Something similar with Gaga in 2010-2011, The Edge of Glory remains being my fav song of hers and, to this day, I do think many songs from those people are better than some Britney songs. 

And if i go further back in time I would say madonna in 2001, I guess when I became obssesed with her and her classics, then I eventually became a Madonna stan, I got to discover her catalogue and it basically became the sound track of my life as well as Britney's.  

To this day they remain my 2 supremes. I only stan royalty if you ask me.

Objectively speaking, Britney’s best song is “Toxic”. It is a pop masterpiece and Top 5 greatest pop songs of the 21st century.

These songs are all slightly better than “Toxic” imo. Then again, they are all masterpieces in their own right.

Yep, it was actually Music the 1st madonna album I heard in full. The 1st song I heard was like a prayer, back in the day there was no social media so I had to write the name of the song and the artist and then wait for it to be aired again  or look it up on internet but the Internet quality from the 00's was like a toaster

For me, this discussion is pointless. You can't compare two songs and decide which one is "slightly better" when they belong to different genres, they are sung by completely different artists and belong to different eras.

Also, Britney's discography is the royalty of pop music, it shouldn't be compared to anything.

Exactly my point. Threads like these are stupid and pointless. “Toxic” is one of, if not, the greatest pop songs of all time. “Bohemian Rhapsody” is the greatest rock song of all time. It just depends on your mood or what you’re looking for in a song. The OP is asking for songs you’ve enjoyed more than Britney’s at some point in time. The songs I listed are some songs that I’ve enjoyed at one point or another over her music. I’m not discrediting or diminishing the quality of her music by any means.
