I am conflicted on Private Show... I think she was headed in a good direction with this song but the production is really bad. I think if it had heavier bass, less pitched vocals and "spin it and twerk it" was taken out, it would be good. I consider "Hot As Ice", "Private Show" and "What U Need" as sister songs. Britney is channeling her inner diva and it's this nasally, bluesy character and it gives me visuals of the look she portrayed in her "Baby One More Time" performance from The Onyx Hotel. I honestly think she likes singing this way and it isn't forced on her. She likes to be in character. I think we get glimpses of this character in "MMM Papi", "Ooh La La" and "Clumsy" as well. It's a different color of Britney but it's obvious she likes it.

Yes it is ... not the song itself necessarily but the voice production on it ... the chipmunk voice is terrible on this one, just like on Clumsy and What you need.
