Zendaya Material Girl campaign is being revisited

In 2014-2015, Zendaya became the first person in Disney channel history to get her own show that wasn't a sequel or a continuation..

 

K.C. Undercover, so while that show was being in development..

 

Zendaya was the last girl to be the campaign model For Material girl  (Macy's deal with Madonna, one for tweens and teens, the truth or dare brand was for adults).

She praised Madonna saying not only is she an icon but she went against the establishment and society norms for women in Music, that's something to be admirable and looked at..

She also dubbed Madonna and Lola the dynamic  mother and daughter duo.

I’m confused. How is she the first person to ever get a show that’s not a continuation when Hilary, Shia, Miley, Selena, Demi, Olivia Holt, Jenna Ortega, Olivia Rodrigo, and many others have gotten their own starring shows?

She started in shake it up.

 

Most of the other Disney channel shows was a spin off of a bigger show..

 

Like The suite life on deck.

K.C. undercover was not a follow up or a sequel series like Raven's Home..

 

It was it's own show with its own plot.
