Stripped is literally the most overrated pop album of the 21st century, aside from Blackout. The album drags on for too long and has so many fillers. Ironic enough, both BO and Stripped were critically panned at the time and only appreciated in the gay community. Now they’re suddenly “masterpieces” because of nostalgia.

Stripped is a phenomenal predecessor to Christina Aguilera, another stellar 90s-infused/y2k-sprung record. But the issue is that her discography is all over the place, and for me that starts on Disc 2 of Back to Basics. From Bionic to Liberation, I believe she lacked the sonic evolution that occurred naturally to other artists (i.e. Britney Spears). So, I would have to politely disagree.

Stripped is one of those albums which I always go back to, Christina was sick for this one but that's a little exaggeration Britney also has amazing albums.
