 This is so wrong. They opened many doors for us. In 2022 some gays really are ungrateful, because many popstars were genuine about it even in the 80's and 90's and it wasnt't very cool to do that back in the day. 

They use us is wrong, because let's be honest: We use their music a lot.

It's not only about the music, it's about their impact. You would never see a gaykiss on tv without Madonna and all the other female singer.

That's just factually not close to the truth. Tell that to Madonna who was one of the very, very, very few famous person standing up for us during the AIDS crisis. Sure, we opened doors for ourselves but let's not erase the allies that have helped us either

That's just factually not close to the truth. Tell that to Madonna who was one of the very, very, very few famous person standing up for us during the AIDS crisis. Sure, we opened doors for ourselves but let's not erase the allies that have helped us either 

exactly. While the entire USA was thinking AIDS is air transmitted and treated people with AIDS like some freaks, Madonna had her choreographer who had AIDS on stage with her, doing concerts where 100% of proceeds would go to HIV research. Many pop divas, directly or indirectly, have had a major role in supporting and legalizing gay rights and marriage, and normalizing that HIV infection doesn't mean you'll die by just breathing the same air as the infected people. 

We need gay history in schools tbh, these new gays are beyond ungrateful.
