She's probably NEVER going to be inclined to spend a lot of money on material items.  She went 13 years without being able to buy so much as a muffin without having to go through an entire process (and sometimes she would even be denied the muffin).  If you do that for 13 years it becomes an ingrained pattern... yep i'm sure she will be low-key for quite a long time

the thing is, she was never known for spending too much, even less for her expensive clothes

I never understand the claims of her blowing up her money before the conservatorship, when she was always very humble in that regard

To be honest, she never really went out of her way to buy expensive clothing. Some of her most iconic looks are simple tees and jeans.

when I was a kid I had very little and always denied of items considered unimportant (shoes, clothes) 

now that I can afford expensive stuff i don't want it, nor I care
