It's not even so much about what she's saying for me, it's about what she's not saying that speaks volumes. I don't necessarily doubt these things happened but there's an entire story we're not privy to. 

The fact that there's no context to the incidents described is shocking, and they are described in such a sensationalising manner purely for effect.  Imagine putting your sister on blast like that after she compared herself to a victim of ***ual/trafficking abuse. For 13 years. Not only that, but Britney has been denied the opportunity to tell her truth. For 13 years. And even made reference to this during her court testimony and the fact that her family can do interviews as they please. 

Also, the fact that there's very little of what Britney actually said during her testimony, and no mention of the truly shocking revelations by the NY Times, by Jamie Lynn or the interviewer, again speaks volumes. I assume questions about those things, many of which can be back up by court documents and/or third party accounts, were off limits.

I don’t know why they’re so desperate to clear their names when they’re literally all nobodies and any opportunity or money they’ve ever seen is thanks to Britney’s hard work and sacrifice.

Exactly that. What's not said speaks way louder than what is being said. I also find it disgusting to use this situation to paint her sister as crazy when really she's just throwing words out there without giving any context to what really happened.

This is all but confirmed that this book is a smear campaign against Britney, and attempts to take Britney's narrative, and spin it as her own.  This is once again, my opinion 

I did a huge dissection in the other thread, but wow, she outdid herself. She's literally only there to make Britney look bad. 

Britney took you into a room with a knife? When and why? In 2007, when she was literally hunted? Why wasn't this mentioned in courts ever? Is this to preempt the video of you swinging a knife in a restaurant on CCTV?

The Conservatorship was never about anyone else but Britney; Conservatorship are supposed to be about yhe best interest of the Conservatee. Ending it was never about what was better for "everyone", the only reason you said that is because you benefitted from it.

Also, while we're here, let's talk about the discussion around the words "best interest", what a coincidence that it is not only being used in court, but now its in your book....hmmm seems scripted.

Jamie tried to get sober with Britney? Jamie had a lifelong history of alcoholism, and Britney was fighting against him, wanting him to be tested in 2014. When did this happen JL? I thought you didn't pat attention because you were a 17 year old? What kinda of Jamie Rehabilitation Bull****. 

The biggest kicker for me was her talking about Britney cursing her out because this is weaponising Britneys justified anger, I mean, how could Britney curse at a woman with a baby?! The kicker? She was her twelve year old daughter had to intervene....

 

Think about that for a second, she just gave us a timeline. She had her baby in 2008, and this happened 12 years later, meaning this happened in 2020, when you, your father and Brother did interviews, your father tried to undercut "Britney's" choice of Conservator by going to their office, your father attacked your nephew, and only a year and a half after she was locked into a facility against her will. Britney has said she's angry, she's depressed, she's traumatised over the abuse she faced, and you want to write a ****ty book to make her look bad?

You're the sister to an international icon, with a nearly 24 year career, who has defined and redefined what it means to be an artist and entertainer, and the daughter of an historically abusive man, according to your mother's book and a detailed account from his siblings, who trapped your sister in a conservstorship while buddying up to your management, who was doing the same to others according to Courtney Cox and Michael Lohan.

If you look closely at the blurred image behind the excerpt the reporter reads, JL states Ivy was 22

months old when the Britney with knife incident. That means mid 2019 since Ivy was born in 2018. DOMINATION CANCELATION ERA.  Brit was NOT playing at that point.

Even IF Britney is erratic and has serious mental struggles beyond anxiety and depression (which I doubt), going out LIVE on TV to put your own ******* sister on the spot??? After 13 years of conservatorship and abuse? 

Me, myself I'm not a fan of my sister and we do have a love-hate relationship, but I would never, EVER in a million years do something as disgusting. No matter how much money they offer me, this is unacceptable.

It breaks my heart to see how they're still pushing the narrative that B is somehow unfit to be around kids, even 15 years later. It's truly disgusting, how can you talk about this woman YOU SISTER, who has objectively gone through so much trauma, without showing an inch of empathy? 

I do believe there's truth to the stories she told, I mean I would be ****ing scared and grabbed a knife to protect my little sister too if I'd lived through what Britney was living... and I definitely, definitely would have cursed her out after I was practically left out to die in a weird facility by my family members. You bet I would!

As @rennen2.0 points out, she's weaponizing these very specific incidents without any context whatsoever to victimize herself and perpetuate the idea that B is "erratic" and the Con was somehow necessary. And she couldn't even sell it well!! She could at least have tried to sell it in a "I'm truly worried about my sister" kind of way but she can't even show that little empathy? Wow.

Truly sometimes what's unsaid speaks volumes... and the fact that she had to hide the context and use very specific and honestly not that weird incidents to badmouth her sister also speaks volumes. I mean, I see this and I think, "is this all she could come up with, really?"

I couldn’t even finish the interview because she is so despicable. The entire first half of the interview was a recap of Britney’s life and reminding everyone of certain events. She shows no love for Britney and you can tell that she’s faking it because she is forcing that crying voice. She’s an actress so I’m sure she knows how to fake a tear however even then, the tears were barely there and she was patting away nothing with that tissue. I also can’t with her again, throwing her sister under the bus and mentioning petty things such as getting in her face and cursing her out. Are you kidding me? Grow the hell up. How about her knife fiasco? She’s trying everything in her power to try and look like a victim and it’s not working for me. I don’t care that you had a child as a teenager. Find a new storyline. It happens every day and will continue to happen. She needs to stop acting like she’s the first woman to have gotten pregnant at that age.

Many people won't agree with this but... Doctors diagnosing people with depression and anxiety, is absolutely real, but can also be so overhyped and overdiagnosed. 

In the documentary ' the crime of the century' about the ***** companies that produce all medication in the US and push it to doctors to get a commission from, it literally says that from the 1960s the ***** companies were TELLING drs to begin overprescribing anti depressants and anxiety meds to housewives to up profit margins, and it has only increased year on year. Over diagnosed meds are a huge issue in the western world.

that aside, of course JL has valid health issues as anyone does, and we have no idea how she feels.

But I saw a very similar trajectory with someone in my family when they gave up work to raise a family, the not working, participating in society and bringing in a wage, for 14 years can't be good for anyone's mental health. Sitting in some quiet country town with no career after you once had a shot at the big time must be extremely miserable.

That was so dangerous and exploitive of Team JL to use those two stories as reference points to Britney in that interview. So you're saying out of your 30 years on earth, the two stories cherry picked for that interview and allowed to air label Britney as erratic and paranoid. Without context it is so damaging for the average viewer to make their mind up, "maybe Britney IS crazy?", "Britney should still have a conservatorship". She has done nothing to help her family in this interview. Her Story? Her Truth? Her forever damaging what little relationship she has with Britney now. She cannot act confused about why there is a rift and in the same sentence say Britney was erratic and spiralling. Silence is golden - how is it that JL is the one to air the families dirty laundry. Never saw that coming to be honest.

It is very obvious what narrative JL is trying to push. That Britney needed a conservatorship and she was "crazy" and "erratic". JL is victim shaming her sister. "she should have walked through the door" - ah yes the sister who was not allowed to drive freely, to take money out of an atm, who was wire tapped and recorded without consent, forced labour. Call ME crazy but I think those human violations far outweigh anyone's feelings of being "second best", "second thought".

I hope Britney continues to heal and has her turn (when SHE is ready) to speak HER truth.

The rest of the Spears family can truly rot for eternity and if Doomsday comes I hope he takes her family in one fell swoop.
