Actually Melody doesnt even remember what happen in that performance. They performed the song twice and Melodys mic didnt work the first time. All of them look at her after the second verse to start singing her part and it was clear her mic wasnt working, and then its weirdly edited back to Nicole who was doing an entirely different movement than before. Two different performances were edited together into one. Nicole was caught off guard when her mic started to work again at the end and she wasn't expected it. Also looks like there were rehearsal issues since the song was cut in half and the new rap was added to the beginning on the performance.

That only showed the second half of the performance , but also proves how much they cut out lol. 

I just think its weird for people to assume Nicole was upset or felt overpowered by the girl she's been performing with for almost 4 years at that point and performing that song for over a year and half. She knew what Melody was suppose to do. There was clearly some technically difficulties that are shown in the official performance.
