Nicki Minaj has come out and said she's not really into social media, because someone is always in the comments waiting to start beef with her.

Nicki Minaj, is done with social media, even doing lives, the big reason why, her words got twisted by the media saying she's anti vaccine and other things. 

 

So even though the barbs are kinda upset, they understand why she's not embracing both twitter and Instagram at this point. 

 

Instagram is due to her support for Jesy Nelson, the media turned it out for her to hate people of her own skin color. 

 

So the media made her a villain and she's done and over it. 

 

But she thanks the kingdom for being patient, but for her own mental health and family unit, she's pretty much laying off the social media at this point. 

 

She even refuses to turn comments on her Instagram, due to people starting beef with her, just for an opinion that they don't agree with.

It's pretty obvious that social media are toxic and you can't share ''different'' thoughts or opinions because people will call you out (at least in US, in some parts of Europe people actually have way more freedom to say awful and disgusting things like death threats about for example gay people etc. and no one really cares what is horrible). Especially when you are a celebrity... Nicki should know that sometimes it's better to stay quiet

She can disable comments like Taylor did on Instagram iirc, or simply not read the comments if they bother her so much. I'm not sure what she expected though - did she think that all people would be okay with her life decisions? Are people simply not supposed to comment on her criminal husband, her anti-vax ways, her habit of threatening to dox people, or the hundreds of other questionable shit in her life?

Social media is toxic AF. Been off of it for a year and im still shaky when I think about just checking explorer tbh. People are wildly thuuursty and ready to drag whatever they can.
