If he planned on leaking it anonymously, then surely tweeting about it beforehand would be a ridiculously stupid idea.

Even if Britney agrees to it, it’s unlikely she actually owns the rights so wouldn’t be able to approve the release without label support. 

An official release with label approval would be EPIC, but I just can’t see it happening. This seems more to me like just playing with fans’ hearts.
