'Evermore' and 'Donda' added to major Grammy categories in the eleventh hour

Taylor Swift's evermore and Kanye West's Donda were added to the top Grammy categories at the very last minute. 

Apparently a document leaked “Final Nominations List” and it showed only 8 nominations in the General Field categories.

The ones added include: 

• Kanye West + Taylor Swift in Album of the Year
• ABBA + Lil Nas X in Record of the Year
• Doja Cat feat. SZA + Brandi Carlile (who was already nominated in the category) in Song of the Year
• Baby Keem + Arooj Aftab in Best New Artist
   

Taylor really won.

So Kanye and Taylor would've been snubbed for AOTY had the checks not cleared at the last minute? Interesting.

Can't believe that such a meticulously crafted album the way 'Evermore' is was almost snubbed in favor of projects like 'Justice'. The latter is not bad per se, but not AOTY material.

This is obviously a gimmick to get more attention for the Grammys. Pitting Kanye and Taylor against each other will always make headlines. Such a cheap, desperate ploy 

Kanye doesn't even care about Grammys anymore so I'm sure he could give two fkks for the nomination.
