Why is Britney still wearing cheap knock-offs?

Everyone thought that was a high couture Balmain dress… yet it’s some knock-off which isn’t even worth 500 dollars. Is she still not allowed to spend money on expensive clothes? I don’t get it

I thought it was a more expensive dress too but $500 I mean I still a lot for a dress if you ask me 

and she just got access to her money and not even her estate actually belongs to her yet, calm down

maybe she has other priorities other than throwing off all of her clothes to buy designer dresses instead

She most probably buys a lot of her clothes online, it's not like she's out there again shopping, that doesn't mean she's not allowed to spend her money, maybe she just has other priorities than clothes right now. Not a big deal. And anyway, Britney was NEVER known to use high couture, ever. Even before the conservatorship.

I think OP is worried that she doesn’t actually have access to her money still and also might not be as happy as you think she is.

One of my favorite things about Britney is that she's never been one to get caught up in that nonesense. If she thinks it's cute, she's gonna wear it - regardless of price and regardless of whether we like it too. She could wear burlap sacks everyday if that's what she wanted and I would be happy that she got to chose that. If you don't understand (and accept) Britney's sense of style by now then I don't know what to tell you.
