The relationship between Britney and her sister saddens me

Am I the only one who is sadden by the "non-existent" relationship between Britney and Jamie Lynn?

I find it hard to see all the negative comments towards Jamie Lynn and I think that doing that, it just helps create a gap between her and Britney. Yes, Britney seems to be angry at her (and her whole family), but what do we know? Are Britney and JL really irreconcilible? I remember a time when Britney was everything for her little sister and vice versa... there's still love somewhere. And what if JL is the only person she could really trust after all this drama?

I'm trying to remember that when s**t started to hit the fan in Britney's life 16 years ago (remember k-fed?), JL was just 13-14 yo. And if a part of what JL's stating in her book is true, I can only imagine how she could have been easily brainwashed by her father, her own team and team con.

Maybe the fact that I have a younger sister myself has an influence on what I'm thinking, but I don't think we should throw JL under the bus that easily. Only time will tell, but I'm getting sick of all the negativeness.

I know that my post won't be well-received by the community, but I wanted to share my guts.

I'm all for sisterhood and loyalty among friends and family so this situation really is sad. I feel for Britney. Sisters are important a bond between sisters is irreplaceable.

Yes it’s sad but it’s also sad that she was drugged and entrapped by her mother and enslaved by her father. None of this is Britney’s fault, so if she chooses to not forgive JL, I trust she has good reason for it.

As someone who is as close to my sister as one could possibly be I do find it sad....for Britney. But just because your family to someone doesn't mean you have to have them in your life. Some of the most toxic people are family and if these were normal circumstances I would be all for her reconciling but when her freedom is at risk then I say stay as far away from these people as possible. 

It's very possible to forgive someone but still love them from a distance.

I said this in another post as much as I despise Jamie Lynn I would hope I could accept Britney forgiving her. She doesn't owe any of us anything and is chooses to let her back in her life then we need to be okay with that but until theni feel comfortable stating that In my humble opinion Jamie Lynn spears is trash. She is a trash sister and a trash human being. 

TO THIS VERY DAY she has YET to say anything in support of Britney. That tells me all I need to know.

I think JL tried to say something in support of Britney. But when she did, she just received backlash from the Britney Army because "it was too late". But IMO, it's never too late to try and make things right. But as you say, it's probably better for Britney if she's away from her whole family until the cship is behind her. It's true that family might be toxic, but don't forget that britney herself said she has abandonment issues, so it definitely influences the way she deals with all that stuff... Britney will still need help going forward, even if the conservatorship is ending and even if she's ****ing Britney! And with a family member to truly have her back, I think it would help. And I don't see that happening with her parents, so...

If you're talking about that video she posted where she pretend wiped away one tear and minimized the movement as just a hashtag  as well as condescendingly making fun of the fact that she "didn't care if she wants to run off to the rain forest and have a zillion babies" all while knowing Britney was forced to wear birth control and didn't have that option...that's hardly support. 

 

Britney Army saw right through her BS and that's why they called her out. It's true in certain circumstances it's never to late to try and make things right if it's genuine. But it's clear she is only doing this to clear her name. Also she still associates with the same people who put Britney through this hell if she really wanted to make it right commen sense should tell her the first thing she needs to do is cut off those people but nope instead she continues to show them love on ig.

I just don't have sympathy for her and I'm usually the first to promote forgiveness. But I get what your saying and like I said if britney does choose to forgive her then we should support that.

I appreciate the share, but Jamie Lynn has been watching Britney be a slave for so long and became closer to their father during the conservatorship. I don't think there is any going back, and Jamie Lynn was always a brat and wanting to be in her sisters shoes, now shes falling with her family and i personally think its exactly what she deserves.

As someone with siblings both older and younger, I would be LIVID if I were in Britney's position and my siblings not only didn't publicly support me but were BENEFITTING from my suffering. It's not that JL didn't publicly support Britney - I can see her wanting to not be public about it...maybe that would be excusable. But she benefitted from all of this. She scoffed at the Britney army. She was exposed for saying some shady things to people like Lance Bass/Lance's bf about Britney. And then when she finally said something...it was hardly anything.

All that said, the fact that JL has been through horrendous abuse from her parents is just more reason for her to support Britney. But she didn't. She was complicit. She ha repeatedly made this movement about her. How much she's suffering because of the Britney army, how much her family is suffering, etc. How about how much her SISTER has suffered? Literally being drugged, being silenced, being painted as a crazy person by her own family, being controlled in every aspect of her life.

It makes me sad, too. Britney has such a big heart and seemed to really care for JL. I wish Britney's kindness and love for others were reciprocated or given to those who didn't take advantage of her. But, like the rest of her family, JL didn't deserve it. And frankly, she can rot with the rest of them. I have no sympathy for her at all, and Britney would be a MUCH better sibling/person than I'd ever be in her situation if she ever chooses to forgive JL in the future.

It hurts a lot when a sibling betrays you. I can’t even imagine the pain and anger Britney feels when her own sister did nothing to protect her or help her. Juno Luo deserves everything and more.

It's sad that it has come to this, but I have no sympathy for Jamie Lynn at all, she's been very happy living off her sisters money all these years while Britney was suffering in silence and being forced to work, while she sat on her *** in Louisiana for a decade and staying in Britney's vacation home  She's playing innocent now cause she knows that the cship is coming to an end and she's gonna be cut off financially

Two things can be true at the same time

1. if Britney feels irredeemably betrayed by her sister and cuts her off, she probably has good reason to do so and I'll support it 

2. it would nonetheless be a pretty tragic end to what was once a huge part of her life. check out any of those 00-01 MTV diary vids, she talked about JL half the time

I share the exact same family dynamic as Britney.

My younger sister would think nothing of stabbing me in the back if it meant she could remain the golden child. 

It makes me more sad to see that the relationship between Britney and her mom has completely deteriorated...I was really holding out hope that Lynne had been there fighting for her in the background all along.

Sadly, I was mistaken...Lynne is trash, just like the rest of the family.
