Jamie Lynn Spears says her parents and management pushed adoption and ******** on her in 2007 after revealing she was pregnant at 16-years-old. 

New quotes from her forthcoming book, 'Things I Should Have Said,' appeared online. In one passage, JL says people in her inner circle "... came to my room trying to convince me that having a baby at this point in my life was a terrible idea … 'It will kill your career. You are just too young. You don’t know what you’re doing. There are pills you can take. We can help you take care of this problem … I know a doctor,'" adding, "everyone around me just wanted to make this 'issue' disappear."

She adds: "...everyone was certain that termination would be the best course of action."

Jamie Lynn also admits her phone was taken away from her to stop her from speaking with anyone outside her immediate inner circle. 

One of her big regrets was not telling Britney herself she was pregnant. "I needed her more than ever and she wasn’t able to help me in my most vulnerable time … To this day, the hurt of not being able to tell my sister myself still lingers.”

She also says she and her dad Jamie got into a fight over her pregnancy, saying he was "slinging words and tossing insults."

Eventually, Jamie Lynn's team made an agreement with OK! Magazine to break the pregnancy story.

It appears Jamie Lynn and Britney have a fractured relationship with one another now. One passage in the book worth highlighting again is "I needed her more than ever and she wasn’t able to help me in my most vulnerable time." I suspect Britney feels the same right about now. However, the wedge between them may dig deeper as Jamie Lynn shares her story in a public memoir.

I gotta say, I am intrigued to see what the book will say about Britney.. if anything detailed at all. Seems like it will mostly just focus on JL being a mother.

Let me start by saying a crisis pregnancy can be a terrifying thing, and keep in mind, it was 2006; she was sixteen and at the peak of her career, while I do not doubt that was a stressful and traumatic time, I do have questions and my issues with this exclusive.

Firstly, this topic brings up bodily autonomy, and publication of this book being a Christian organisation, as well as how Christianity, in particular deep rooted American Conservative in conjunction with money driven born again Christianity, should have been a no-go from an exclusive point of view; it seems they're trying to reach a demographic that is fundamentally against ********, in my opinion, given its phrasing.

Secondly, Britney said in court she had an IUD in her body she didn't want, meaning her bodily autonomy has been removed from her. JL, once again, is inviting criticism knowing this is a topic that is now public knowledge. 

Lastly, surely this goes against Lynne's book? Isn't there a section that details how Jamie and a "woman" wanted to ship JL off in quiet to a nunnery to have the baby and give it up? Can someone double check this?

I don’t buy it, once you found you was pregnant you should have told Britney first. Most siblings do that before they tell they parents. So if you wanted her to know you could’ve told her

 Ya know, I believe she probably did go through hell being part of that family. And I WOULD feel bad for her IF she publicly supported her sister and wasn’t up the *** of the person who allegedly masterminded the conservatorship.  She still has yet to publicly support/say #FreeBritney, and now I saw a post where she was allegedly commenting on LT's insta that she was excited for the “Once upon a one more time" play WHILE Britney was “away”(allegedly).  I’m sick of her, and wish she’d go away! Why this moment to tell the story?

Definitely looks like she tries to use Britney's case to promote herself and put herself in a ''victim'' light. She ALLEGEDLY has been friends with Loucifer all this time so it's hard to feel sorry for her

Funny how only TMZ has exclusive access to the contents of the book.  Who pushed for JL to have an ********? I bet it was Jamie. TMZ claims Jamie Lynn writes that Jamie is the one that pushed for adoption and I can see Lou and Lynne wanting JL to do that too. Lou wanted Lynne to put JL away in that facility until she gave birth, put Maddie up for adoption then let JL go back to living a normal life for a teen and continue her career. These morons really live like it’s still the 1950s.🤦‍♀️ 

But I bet her dad was the main one who wanted to take her to “get rid of the problem” aka abort Maddie. How Christian of him!!  Will JL admit who told her mama Lynne to send her *** away to the pregnant teens facility?? Will she admit that Lou told Lynne to take JL out of town and lay low until the story broke in OK Magazine in which Lou brokered the $1 million deal with the magazine for JL’s story?? How much of that $1 Million did Ms. Lou receive?? 🤔 

Lou Taylor was the Spears family spokesperson, the one doing “damage control”. Lou still works for Jamie Lynn!! 
 

Lou was (still is) controlling EVERYONE in the Spears family except Britney because she was in everyone’s ear “advising them” and giving “Christian guidance”. No way is Jamie Lynn going to call out her cult leader Looney Lou for pushing her parents to push HER to make decisions that were not of benefit to her personal well-being.

I can absolutely believe this to be true, and I sympathize... BUT, it literally confirms that she knew her family were/are/could be shady for years and that she was quite happy to STILL do absolutely nothing to help Britney.

Sounds alot like she is using her sisters story to say look me too my parents did the same to me. Ironic isn't it? 

How you can so aware of the controlling ways of your parents and you still chose to allow your sister to be abused the way she was.

From what I remember from reading Lynne's book years ago, this is true-ish. Jamie and Lou were pushing for adoption ect.. Although I believe Lynne painted herself as the "hero" stating that JL kept pushing against ******** and adoption and Lynne was apparently the one who caved and said Ok, have your baby. (eye roll)

BUT... WHYYYY does Lou still work for JL?!?! She had enough foresight to push for what she wanted when it came to her daughter but she doesn't care to push to have Lou out of her life after that?? In fact, she has done nothing but praise Lou for YEARS. She's been seen working with her dad too. I don't get it. 

Obviously things are easier said than done and family relationships are complicated and hard to cut off, but you would think that she would have something in common with her sister in that they were both controlled (although obviously Britney was much more heavily controlled!) and so she could use that bond to form a closer relationship to her and try and help her to get out...
