Vivian Thoreen reportedly dropped Jamie Spears after he was suspended because now there's no money in it

Vivian Thoreen of Holland & Knight dropped Jamie Spears as a client following his suspension as Britney's conservator. Vivian has reason to believe Britney's attorney, Mathew Rosengart, will sue Jamie Spears after the conservatorship is terminated; it appears now that the funds have dried up, Viv wants no part of it.

“Mathew Rosengart has asserted numerous times that he is going to investigate and sue Jamie,” a source tells PageSix. “If/when he does, Jamie will need to defend and likely be adverse to parties in the conservatorship.”

Vivian reportedly told Jamie “he’ll need a different litigator and that she and H&K weren’t interested in that role.”

Jamie "authorized" Vivian to “help him find a strong litigator.” Thoreen recommended Alex Weingarten. 

Here's where things get PR-ey. “Jamie is pleased with the work done by H&K,” a source told continued. “He and Vivian remain in close touch during the transition.”

Uh huh. A separate source sees through the BS. 

“They don’t want to fund this anymore because when you represent a suspended conservator it makes it much more likely that fees you’ve already obtained could be disgorged and future fees may not be paid from the estate, but rather would have to be paid from Jamie,” the source explained.

In other words, Jamie is cut off from Britney's bank account, so it'll be interesting to see how he pays his legal fees moving forward. 

As we previously reported, Rosengart intentionally did not request to terminate the conservatorship at the September 29th hearing. Instead he opted to have a temporary conservator replace Jamie. Rosengart said, “He knows that when he is suspended he must turn over the conservatorship files, including purported attorney-client privileged documents (communications with his lawyers), to the new temporary conservator.” It is likely Rosengart's goal to uncover Jamie's wrongdoings and begin pursuing formal charges charges.

Wasn’t it already stated that Sam Ingham and now Rosengart are Britney’s representation before the court? and that Vivian and Co. we’re in fact representing the conservatorship and not Jamie? And that team con’s legal team was in a terrible spot because the conservatorship was supposed to help Britney and therefore their job was to make sure it did? But that  instead they were mistakenly defending Jamie? How is Vivian “dropping” Jamie then?
